Bhopal: Preparations have been made to make former state minister Laxmikant Sharma CBI charged again in the case of Forest Guard recruitment examination involving Madhya Pradesh Professional Examination Board on Vyapam scam case. It is to be noted here that 7 months ago, the Central Investigation Agency had written in the challan presented in the special court set up in Bhopal to hear the business cases that no concrete evidence could be found against the former minister Sharma in this case.

On this basis, the 8 accused in the case had got a clean chit. Questions are being raised on the functioning of the CBI for being re-charged in this case. The CBI will also have to seek the permission of the court due to the final challan being presented in the case. If the court wishes, it can order to make Sharma accused after taking cognizance.
Heavy clash between police and criminal, culprit killed at around 6.15 am
The STF of Madhya Pradesh Police, which was initially investigating the Forest Guard examination recruitment examination case, made Sharma accused. Later, on the instructions of the Supreme Court, this investigation was handed over to the CBI. The CBI had submitted a challan in the Bhopal court on 6 August 2019 that no evidence has been found against the former minister Sharma. For this reason, he has not been charged.

CBI sources have said that the final challan has been submitted in this case. The entire matter has reached the court. If the court wishes, it can also give instructions for a re-investigation in this case or it can directly direct the former minister Sharma to be charged in this case. CBI believes that like other examinations of Vyapam scam, he should be made accused in this too. If this is not done, then he will get the benefit in other cases also. Sharma was also appointed by the STF in the Transport Constable Recruitment Examination. In this case, a clean chit was given in the last challan presented by the CBI.
