Patna: Opposition parties are constantly targeting the state government over the state-wide human chain being formed on January 19 as part of CM Nitish Kumar's ambitious plan 'Jal-Jeevan-Hariyali Abhiyan' in Bihar. In this sequence, former CM Rabri Devi has targeted this human chain, calling it another gimmick of Nitish Kumar.
Rabri Devi has said that, CM Nitish ji had done a human chain on liquor ban, at that time we also supported, but did it stop alcohol? No? Even after spending crores of rupees on child marriage and dowry, a human chain was prepared, what happened? Now the Chief Minister has also stopped mentioning them. Now another series gimmick? Why are the poor eating right?
Former deputy CM and Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) leader Tejashwi Yadav has also questioned the expenditure on human chain. Tejashwi, the Leader of Opposition in the Bihar Legislative Assembly, tweeted in a tweet that, "Remember, the floods in Bihar and the water logging of corruption-hit Patna." Nitish Sarkar did not even have a helicopter for relief, but 15 helicopters and photographers from Mumbai are being called to give a face to the multi-crore rupee 'Government Fair and Lovely'.
