New Delhi: Indian Airforce will celebrate its 88th Foundation Day today. The Indian Air Force was established on this day in the year 1932. Like every year, this year also the special programs will be organized at Hindon Airbase of Ghaziabad adjoining Delhi, which will include Air Force fighter aircraft. The center of attraction in this timely event will be Rafael Fighter Jet. Apart from this, Chinook and Apache helicopters will also show their strength.

The Airforce is celebrating its 88th Foundation Day at a time when it is going through a big phase of change. Fighter jets like Rafale have recently joined the Air Force fleet. This time, a total of 56 aircraft will perform a power show at Airforce Day Fly Past. This number was 51 last year. Regarding Rafale, Airchief Marshal RKS Bhadauria says that "We will gain a lot ahead with Rafael Jet, it will also benefit us that we will be able to act fast".

There are alerts on the Air Force and Army border in view of the ongoing tension with China on the Line of Actual Control (LAC). This is the opportunity to show strength to the enemy. In the past, Rafael also flew in the sky of Leh-Ladakh and showed its power. Rafale Fighter Jet has joined the Indian Air Force only last month. India has got five Rafale fighter jets from France, while in the next two to three years this number will reach 36.
