Ahmedabad: A 25-year-old married Hindu woman has accused a man named Sahil Rafiq Vohra of raping her for two-and-a-half years in Gujarat's Anand district. The victim says that Sahil used to exploit her by threatening her. When she protested, he said that he would make the private chats between the two viral. After receiving the complaint of the case, Anand Police has arrested the accused and further action has been started against him.

In the complaint, the woman has accused Sahil Rafiq and said that Rafiq followed her and took out her number. Later, he started chatting with her. When the woman fell into his clutches, he threatened to make the private chats between them public. The 25-year-old woman lives in Petlad and works at a showroom in Anand. The accused also worked in the shop next to her showroom. That's where the two talked. But gradually, Sahil started following her from Petlad to Anand.

When the woman stopped him from doing so, he threatened her that he would defame the woman in the society by making the chats of both of them viral. According to the woman, Sahil Rafiq used to tell her, "No matter what you do. I like you and I will find you whatever happens." The woman also said that the accused threatened her several times and took her to the hotel, raped her there and kept saying that if she told anyone about all these things, the consequences would be very bad. According to the victim, her abuse lasted for about two and a half years. After this, she gathered courage and filed a complaint in this matter. Acting immediately on the complaint of the victim, Anand Police has arrested Sahil Rafiq Vohra. When the police came to catch him, he was in an inebriated state. The police will investigate and take further legal action.
