Congress leaders Rahul Gandhi and Priyanka Gandhi Vadra came to meet former Union Minister P Chidambaram who was lodged in Tihar Jail. He is undergoing the INX Media money laundering case. Where it was told that after about 1 hour he came out of Tihar Jail. During the meeting that lasted for about an hour, Karti Chidambaram said, 'Today Rahul Gandhi and Priyanka Gandhi Vadra met my father. This is a very strong message that the Congress party is with them. He also expected justice from the Supreme Court. He said, my father has been in jail for the last 99 days.

In the month of September, the interim President of Congress Sonia Gandhi and former Prime Minister Manmohan Singh also met P Chidambaram in Tihar Jail. He entered the jail from Gate number three of Tihar Jail at around 9 am. In Jail number seven, this meeting with Chidambaram lasted for about 25 minutes.
