Lucknow: Former Congress national president Rahul Gandhi and his sister Priyanka Gandhi Vadra arrived in UP's Varanasi on Wednesday on the occasion of Ravidas Jayanti. Here the duo served 'langar' to the devotees who had come to the Ravidas temple. Assembly elections are going on in UP. In such a situation, Priyanka Gandhi is also planning to campaign in the state during her visit to Uttar Pradesh today. 

Priyanka Gandhi will campaign from door to door in Kanpur Cantt and Kidwai Nagar. After this, door-to-door votes will be sought in Sisamau and Arya Nagar. After this, she will take part in Mahila Shakti Roarjan in Govind Nagar, Kanpur. After serving the langar, Rahul Gandhi and Congress's national general secretary Priyanka Gandhi ate langar in the Sant Shiromani Shri Ravidas ji temple located in Ksheer Govardhan with the accompaniment. On this occasion, Rahul Gandhi said that the blessings of Sant Shiromani Ravidas ji remain with the people of the country.

The seven-phase assembly elections in Uttar Pradesh have started from February 10. Two phases of voting have been completed. The third phase of polling in UP will be held on February 20. There are 403 assembly seats in UP. Polling will now be held in seven phases in UP on February 20, 23, 27 and March 3 and 7. The election results will come out on March 10.
