New Delhi: The bulldozer's action has heated up the political mercury following the violence that broke out in Jahangirpuri in the national capital. Now, former Congress national president Rahul Gandhi has termed the entire issue as a violation of constitutional values. Rahul has objected to the BJP-ruled MCD running bulldozers on illegal constructions and encroachments after the Jahangirpuri violence and continuing the action even after the Supreme Court stayed it.

Rahul Gandhi tweeted that this is a violation of the constitutional values of the country. This is the state-sponsored goal of the poor and minorities. The BJP should remove the hatred from their hearts instead. Earlier this morning, the Congress leader had tweeted on the issue. He wrote, "Modi Ji, there is a period of price rise. During this time small industries will be ruined by power cuts. This will lead to further loss of jobs in the future. So stop the bulldozers of hate and turn on the power plants."

At the same time, objecting to the matter, veteran Congress leader Shashi Tharoor said that the game of politics has become much dirtier now. Posting a picture of the bulldozer action in Jahangirpuri, Shashi Tharoor tweeted, "Every single person who has become helpless and weak, now the political game has become very dirty.''
