Srinagar: Bulldozers are being run against encroachment and illegal occupation in the Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir these days, action is going on against illegal encroachment in the valley. Illegal encroachment has been removed from a large number of lands and the action is still going on. Where there is anger among the local people about this, the opposition has once again got a chance to attack the central government. Although this action is being taken against encroachment and illegal occupation, but the opposition is projecting it as a dictatorship of the government.

In this sequence, today i.e. on Sunday (February 12), former Congress President Rahul Gandhi attacked the BJP and said that the land which was irrigated by people with hard work, is now being snatched from them. Rahul Gandhi wrote in his tweet that, 'Jammu and Kashmir need employment, better business and love, but what did they get? Bulldozer of BJP! The land which the people there irrigated with hard work for many decades, is being snatched from them. Peace and Kashmiriyat will be protected by uniting, not by breaking and dividing people.' Let us inform you that, earlier, while writing a letter to PM Narendra Modi, Rahul Gandhi had raised the issue of the security of Kashmiri Pandits.

Rahul had said in this letter that Prime Minister, a delegation of Kashmiri Pandits met me regarding their problems at the Jammu stage of the ongoing Bharat Jodo Yatra to unite the whole of India in the thread of love and unity. Government officials are forcing them to go back to work in the Kashmir Valley. In these circumstances, forcing them to go to work in the valley without any concrete guarantee of safety and security is a cruel step. Till the situation improves and becomes normal, the government can take services from these Kashmiri Pandit employees in other administrative and public facilities.

Rahul Gandhi Go Back slogans were raised in Kashmir:-

When Rahul Gandhi's Bharat Jodo Yatra entered Jammu and Kashmir. At that time the local people strongly opposed this visit and raised slogans of Rahul Gandhi go back. People used to say that when terrorists were killing people in Kashmir, there was a Congress government at the center for a long time, but at that time Congress and Rahul Gandhi did not take any steps to protect the people of Kashmir and now they have come here to show false sympathy. People had said that this yatra should have taken place at a time when Article 370 was in force, Hurriyat people used to raise slogans of Azadi to scare people. At that time these people used to embrace the Hurriyat.
