Attacking Rahul Gandhi, Chief Minister Eknath Shinde had said that, if he can, Rahul Gandhi should stay in Andaman Jail like Savarkar. After this, NCP Chief Sharad Pawar called Savarkar great on Saturday. Pawar said that Savarkar had a scientific outlook and was a progressive person.
