Amritsar: Congress Lok Sabha MP Rahul Gandhi will start the Bharat Jodo Yatra in Punjab after Haryana, but before that he reached Amritsar around 2 pm today and paid obeisance at the Golden Temple. From here he will return and after that start his Bharat Jodo Yatra from the Shambhu border in Punjab. After this, Rahul Gandhi's yatra will enter Jammu and Kashmir from Pathankot via Jalandhar to Adampur. 

However, Rahul Gandhi did not go inside Shri Akal Takht Sahib. Congress leaders returned from outside after bowing their heads on Shri Akal Takht. On the other hand, while targeting Rahul Gandhi's visit to Punjab, MP Harsimrat Kaur Badal has said that Rahul's grandmother Indira Gandhi divided Punjab into pieces. Along with this, the Shri Harmandir Sahib of Punjab was attacked and the Sikhs were massacred. That's why the people of Punjab can never forgive the Gandhi family.

The central security agencies have made complete arrangements regarding Rahul's visit to Punjab and Jammu and Kashmir. Rahul Gandhi has been given Z plus security, so according to sources, the agencies have approached the Punjab and Jammu Kashmir Police. Strong security arrangements have been made by sharing information about the places through which the yatra will pass. In fact, security agencies are alert about the incidents that have taken place in these states in the last few months. Reiki at every location has been done.
