New Delhi: Former Congress national president and sitting Lok Sabha MP Rahul Gandhi on Saturday accused the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) and the Central government, saying all institutions are in the hands of the RSS. He also talked about elections. Let us know that recently Rahul Gandhi had met senior Samajwadi Party (SP) leader Sharad Yadav. Even during that time, he had talked about uniting with RSS opponents.
Apart from the Congress, several leaders, including West Bengal CM and Trinamool Congress (TMC) supremo Mamata Banerjee, have appealed to the opposition to unite. Congress leader Rahul Gandhi, who arrived at a book launch event in the national capital, said, "We have to save the Constitution. To save the Constitution, we have to protect the institutions. But all the institutions are in the hands of the RSS. Meanwhile, Rahul Gandhi said that he is not interested in power.
Rahul Gandhi said, "Here are the leaders, chaos is behind power. They are always thinking about gaining power... Now I have a problem with it, I was born in the middle of power, but to tell you the truth, I am not interested in power. Instead, I try to understand the country.'' After the meeting with Sharad Yadav, Rahul said, "In the opposition, whoever is against the RSS and PM Narendra Modi, they should come together. Discussions are on how they will come together and how the framework will be ready.'
