New Delhi: Uproar continues in both houses of Parliament over several issues including pegasus espionage controversy, agricultural law. Leaders of opposition parties have met in Parliament on Wednesday to corner the central government. About a dozen parties attended the meeting. The meeting was followed by a media address by former Congress President and Lok Sabha MP Rahul Gandhi and leaders of other opposition parties.

Rahul Gandhi says the opposition voice is being suppressed in Parliament, our question is whether the government of the country has bought Pegasus or not. Did the government use pegasus weapons on its people or not? Rahul Gandhi further said that ''the weapon of Pegasus was used against me, the Supreme Court, the media and others in the country. Why did the government do this, he should answer it. We are not preventing Parliament from functioning, but want to raise our voice.''

Rahul Gandhi further said why the weapon which should have been used against terrorists is being used against us. The government answering why Pegasus was purchased. Just a few days ago, Amnesty International was quoted by international media as revealing that the Government of India had hacked the phones of many people from Israeli software Pegasus. These included several leaders including Rahul Gandhi, Prashant Kishore, some Union ministers, journalists, and others. However, Amnesty International itself later reversed its claim on the list, saying the list was not his, which was spied on.
