New Delhi: Former Congress national president Rahul Gandhi met President Ram Nath Kovind on Thursday and raised the issue of agriculture law. Rahul then spoke to the media and lashed out at the Modi government. In the meantime, when questions were raised about democracy, Rahul Gandhi replied that there is no democracy in India, which country you are talking about.

Replying to a question here, Congress MP Rahul Gandhi said that India does not have democracy, which is only in your thinking, there is nothing really like that. Congress MP Rahul Gandhi said that we have told President Ram Nath Kovind that these laws are going to harm the farmers, the country is looking at the farmers who are standing against the law. I would like to tell the PM that the farmer will not be removed unless the law is returned, no one is going to go back.

Rahul Gandhi further said that the government should convene a joint session of Parliament and withdraw these laws immediately. He said that farmers are suffering today, some farmers have died. Congress leader Rahul Gandhi said, "I had said about corona that there would be damage, nobody listened to me. If these laws are not withdrawn today, it is going to harm not just a party but a country."
