Chandigarh: Haryana Home Minister Anil Vij has attacked the Congress leader for calling the RSS the Kaurava of the 21st century during the Bharat Jodo Yatra. Anil Vij said that he does not know anything about the organization, so he should join the RSS for a few days. On the other hand, Haryana CM Manohar Lal Khattar said that Congress leaders are also surprised by Rahul Gandhi's comment on the Sangh. Referring to the term used by BJP leaders to target Rahul, Khattar said, "He has become Pappu".

Attacking the RSS in Ambala on Monday, Rahul Gandhi called Sangh members "Kauravs of the 21st century" at a street corner meeting on the sidelines of his Bharat Jodo Yatra. Haryana cabinet minister Anil Vij attacked Rahul, saying he was talking about the poor but was sleeping in the 'Pahiye Ke Mahal' during his travels. Anil Vij said that he has no right to comment on an organization about which he does not know anything. Today's country is standing because of RSS. To know RSS, Rahul Gandhi should join Sangh's branch for a few days. Anil Vij also took a dig at Gandhi for saying that he decided to wear only a T-shirt for his padyatra after meeting 3 poor girls in Madhya Pradesh. 

The minister said that Rahul Gandhi should have at least gone to the houses of those girls to see how they live, and where they sleep. He sleeps in a palace on wheels, which has all the luxuries, and is part of the fleet of vehicles that accompany him. Lakhs of rupees are being spent on his travel, Vij said. He also talked about the funding for the same. On the other hand, regarding the comment on the Sangh, Chief Minister Khattar said, "The kind of comments he makes, he does not understand what philosophy he follows. Sometimes they become devotees of Shiva and then ask who chants Har Har Mahadev. Sometimes he targets priests. No one can understand what is his focus." The CM said, "Anyway, he is Pappu." Rahul Gandhi on Monday alleged that RSS people never chant 'Har Har Mahadev' and don't say 'Jai Siya Ram'. They are against India's values ​​and 'Tapasya'.
