New Delhi: Former Congress President Rahul Gandhi has attacked PM Modi over the border security issue. Rahul Gandhi took to Twitter to share a news report on the creation of Chinese villages in Arunachal Pradesh and wrote, "Remember his promise, I will not let the country bow down." Rahul Gandhi has always been the target of the Modi government on different issues. Rahul Gandhi is also going to hold press conferences in Delhi today on the issue of farmers.

Rahul Gandhi had earlier sought a response from Congress leader P Chidambaram on Monday over reports that China had constructed a village of 100 houses in the controversial area inside Arunachal Pradesh. Chidambaram had said that if the BJP MP's claims were correct, would the government blame the earlier governments by giving a clean chit to China. China has been claiming Arunachal Pradesh.

Rahul Gandhi shared the news of a Hindi newspaper with his tweet. China has built a village of 100 houses within four and a half km of the Line of Actual Control (LAC) in Arunachal Pradesh within a year, it said. An English channel has also released satellite images about it. One picture is August 2019 and the other is November 2020. The first picture clearly shows that a place is completely empty, while the November 2020 photograph shows some structures at the place, which is being described as a village in China.
