senior Congress leader P Chidambaram has also reacted to this issue. He said that the Agricultural Produce Marketing (APMC) Act is today a protective shield for large sections of farmers. The minimum support price (MSP) is an indication of pricing based on which the market determines prices. He claimed that these bills would eliminate this importance of MSP and the APMC law would also be nullified.
