Congress President Rahul Gandhi on Saturday again targeted Prime Minister Narendra Modi regarding alleged irregularities in the Rafale air strike and claimed that in the next 50 years for the maintenance of 36 aircraft, taxpayers of the country will get a joint venture of a private Indian group and the company will be given Rs 1,00,000 crore in the next 50 years. Gandhi tweeted Prime Minister Modi indirectly, "In the next 50 years, the joint venture of Mr. 56 friend of Indian taxpayers will have to pay Rs. 100,000 crores for the maintenance of 36 Rafale aircraft."

Sharing some documents related to the private company, he said, "Defense Minister (Nirmala Sitharaman) will always correspond to the press conference and deny it. But there is a fact in the document I am presenting." On the other hand, Congress leader Shakti Singh Gohil told reporters on Saturday that there has been a major corruption and the company which has to be blacklisted has given such a big contract. Congress and Rahul Gandhi are constantly attacking the Modi government by alleging corruption in the Rafale deal.

In this case, the Congress has given notice of privilege abuses in the Lok Sabha against Prime Minister Modi and Defense Minister Nirmala Sitharaman. The party alleges that Modi and Sitharaman have misled the House in the context of telling the price of Rafale aircraft.
