New Delhi: Tea will be available soon in the earthen cup (Kulhad) at the railway stations of the country. Union Railway Minister Piyush Goyal himself has given information about this. He said that in the coming days, tea will be available in plastic-free Kulhar at every railway station in the country. Inaugurating the first electrified train on Dhigavada railway block in Alwar, Rajasthan, he said that tea is available in Kulhar at around 400 railway stations in the country today.

Piyush Goyal said that the plan of the Ministry of Railways is that in the coming days, only tea in Kulhar can be found at every railway station in the country. This will help in creating a plastic-free India and will also curb environmental pollution. With this, lakhs of people will also get employment in the country. He counted the achievements of the Center and said that in Rajasthan, the Modi government has developed railways. The Modi government is working on electrifying the railway lines, which will save the total dial imported from abroad in India and diesel engines will be shut down. This will run electric locomotives under the Swadeshi Badao scheme and will benefit India.

Piyush Goyal said that for 35 years no one thought about the development of Rajasthan Railways. When the Modi government came in 2014, the PM decided to electrify all the railway lines of the country. After 2014, 1433 km of electrification was done. 240 km of work was done each year. Between 2009 and 2014, 65 under passes were made. Whereas after 2014, 378 under passes and subways were ready.
