Jammu: The temperature in Jammu had crossed 42 degrees on Wednesday. Due to which people got upset with this scorching heat. On the morning of today (Thursday), the weather in Jammu changed suddenly and after the drizzle, there was a significant drop in the temperature. According to the Meteorological Department, the entire Jammu and Kashmir have been cloudy since Thursday morning and rained in many areas.

The Meteorological Department says that normal rain may occur in most areas of Jammu and Kashmir on the 30th and 31st of this month. The Meteorological Department has also expressed the possibility of thunderstorms. According to the Meteorological Department, there is a possibility of rain in some areas in the state on 28 and 29 May. However, the department has clarified that there is no possibility of heavy rains in Jammu and Kashmir in the next 7 to 10 days.

The Meteorological Department has advised farmers and people doing gardening to spray on their fruits and plants only after May 31, so that they do not cause any harm. In Jammu, the slight change in weather has given relief to people from the heat. Till Wednesday, people were avoiding coming out of their homes. Today, after this rain, people have breathed a sigh of relief. Due to the fall in temperature with the rain, people were seen coming out of their houses and walking on the streets.
