Panaji, In an Incident, On Sunday, a 23-year-old German girl died while she was running a rain marathon organised at Bambolim stadium.
Assagaim Police Inspector Uday Parab said, “Christina Kamser, who participated in a rain marathon organised by Rotary Club of Panaji, collapsed soon after she started the 10-km run".
Girl was rushed to Goa Medical College and Hospital where she was declared dead.
The reason behind the Kamser's death will be known after postmortem report arrives, said Parab.
The Agassaim police have registered a case of unnatural death.
"We have also called the girl who accompanied the deceased to the run. We are inquiring the case," the officer added.
