Rains bring down temperature in MP, record of 10 years broken in April

Bhopal: Amidst the scorching heat, the temperature has dropped in Madhya Pradesh due to rain. Even today, an orange alert has been issued for rain and hailstorm in many parts of the state. Yesterday also there was rain and hailstorm in many districts. The weather is likely to remain like this for the next 3-4 days.

According to the Meteorological Department, there is a possibility of rain in the districts of Chambal, Gwalior, Sagar, Rewa, Narmadapuram, Bhopal, Jabalpur, Shahdol, Indore and Ujjain divisions on Sunday. Orange alert of hailstorm has been issued in Sheopur Kalan, Morena, Guna, Dewas, Shajapur, Agar Khargone, Ratlam, Umaria, Dindori, Jabalpur, Chhindwara, Seoni, Mandla, Narsinghpur, Balaghat along with the districts of the division. Due to the continuous rains in the state, there is a possibility of a drop in temperature by 2 to 3 degrees. Whereas Khajuraho, Datia, Shivpuri recorded the highest temperature of 38 degrees.

Record of 10 years was broken in Madhya Pradesh . The state did not receive rainfall in the last 10 years at the end of April. The weather will remain like this for the next 4-5 days. The temperature will remain low in the first week of May as well. Till the second week, the period of fluctuations in the temperature of Madhya Pradesh will continue.
