Mumbai: Raj Thackeray's Maharashtra Navnirman Sena (MNS), which has campaigned against the loudspeakers on mosques, has now announced an agitation against Halal meat. Yashwant Killedar, the leader of MNS in Maharashtra, has issued a letter saying that there is a need to fight against 'Halal', the country's biggest terror funding and 7 trillion economy globally. Yashwant Killedar said that 'Halal' is a very cruel way of killing animals in Islam, so now it has become mandatory to start the 'No to Halal' campaign.
Yashwant Killedar has said in his letter that, 'Jhatka' meat is eaten among the people of Hindu, Sikh and Christian religions. There has been a boom in the business of killing animals in a halal way, due to which the Khatik and Valmiki societies, which sell jerk meat and its meat, are disappearing. The traditional business of this society is being snatched away from them, due to which people of other religions have to eat chopped meat in a 'Halal' way. He has said 'By breaking this monopoly of Halal on behalf of MNS, the main objective behind this fight is to get the people of Valmiki and Khatik society back their business.'
Yashwant Killedar further said that 'Jamiat Ulema-e-Hind's involvement in the meat business, as well as other vegetarian products such as chips, biscuits, lipstick, chocolate and ice cream etc, is increasing and a part of the profits earned from them is directly It is being used mainly in terrorist and anti-national activities.' He said that the general public does not even know that the hard-earned money with which they buy these things, the same money is being used to spread terrorism and we all together should stop buying Halal products. That is why it is imperative to start the 'No to Halal' campaign. There is a need to create an effort and we all have to join this struggle.
