Mumbai: The Uddhav Thackeray government, which is in power in Maharashtra, is facing many challenges including the corona pandemic. There is a fierce battle in the state for not opening the religious places. While the opposition BJP is constantly surrounding the Uddhav government on this issue, now MNS Chief Raj Thackeray has also joined it. Raj Thackeray has written a letter to Uddhav expressing his disappointment on this issue and has written whether the government is deaf to Hindu sentiments?

Maharashtra Navnirman Sena (MNS) President Raj Thackeray wrote a letter to his cousin and CM Uddhav Thackeray on Thursday, saying, "I am surprised that the Maha Vikas Aghadi government is asleep and deaf to the sentiments of Hindus. We demand the government to open the temples and if the government fails to do so, people will forget all the restrictions (lockdown) and march towards the temples to see God".

This letter from MNS has come at a time when All India Majlis Ittehadul-e-Muslimeen MP Imtiaz Jalil and Vanjit Bahujan Agadi chief Prakash Ambedkar have started an independent movement to reopen all places of worship in the state.
