A 925 MW solar power park will be set up in Nokh, Rajasthan, India. With this, investment of more than 4000 crores is expected in the state. It will be one of the largest solar energy parks ever built in Rajasthan. The park will start producing solar energy before December 2021. For this, a memorandum of understanding was signed here on Thursday.

According to the media report, the MoU between Rajasthan Solar Park Development Company Limited (RSDCL) and National Thermal Power Corporation (NTPC) was signed here. On this occasion, Energy Minister BD Kalla said that the 925 MW capacity park to be set up in Nokh will prove to be a milestone in the state's growing step in the field of green energy.

The implementation assistance agreement was signed by RSDCL managing director of Rajasthan Renewable Energy Corporation Limited (RRECL) Anil Gupta and Executive Director Mohit Bhargava on behalf of NTPC on behalf of RSDCL. Principal Secretary of Energy Department Ajitabh Sharma said that under this agreement of Solar Park in Nokh, there will be an investment of about 4000 crores in the state. This is the largest investment in the tenure of the present government.
