Jaipur: The Ashok Gehlot government in Rajasthan presented the state budget (Rajasthan Budget 2022) on Wednesday. It has also announced the restoration of the old pension scheme. Let us know that this has also become a big issue in the Uttar Pradesh assembly elections. Now in Budget 2022, CM Ashok Gehlot has announced to restore the old pension scheme by giving a big gift to the employees. The pension has been announced for personnel appointed on and after January 1, 2004, as before.

In this regard, CM Gehlot has also given information in a tweet. In a tweet, Ashok Gehlot said, "We all know that the employees associated with government services feel safe for the future only then they can make their invaluable contribution to good governance in the service period. Therefore, for all the personnel appointed on and after January 1, 2004, I announce the implementation of the pension scheme before the next year."

Talking about the old pension scheme, Tax and Investment Expert Balwant Jain says that before 2004, those who joined government jobs used to get a defined pension after retirement. This pension did not depend on the basis of the duration of his service but on the salary of the employee at the time of retirement. Under this scheme, after the death of a retired employee, his family members also got the benefit of a pension facility.
