Churu: A case of rape of a young woman from Maharashtra by taking her hostage in Rajgarh in Churu district of Rajasthan for two years has come to light. A case has now been registered against the accused under bayonet sections of the IPC after the victim pleaded for justice from the Churu Superintendent of Police. The accused has held the girl hostage for the first 9 days and raped her.

According to the charge, the accused held the girl hostage for 9 days and raped her, then cheated her of marriage and raped her for 2 years. The victim said in a report at Rajgarh police station that the accused Balbir is a resident of Dhadhal village in Rajgarh who used to trade in clothes in Mumbai five years ago. The girl was introduced to the accused in Mumbai which turned into a friendship. In 2019, when the accused had come to his village, he called the girl to his village on the pretext of visiting Rajasthan. When the girl came to his village, the accused Balbir forcibly raped her at night.

For 9 days, the accused held her hostage and assaulted her and committed rape. The accused then tricked her into marriage and raped her for two years. A few days ago, on the death anniversary of the girl's father, she moved to Mumbai, but now when she returned to the village, the accused fled with another girl.
