Jaipur: A cabinet meeting was convened today under the chairmanship of Rajasthan CM Ashok Gehlot. In this meeting, the points raised by the Governor on the revised proposal to call the assembly session have been discussed. A minister present in the meeting has said that the government wants to call the assembly session from July 31.

It is worth noting that amid the political struggle in Rajasthan, Governor Kalraj Mishra has again sent the Cabinet's proposal to call the assembly session back to the government. The amended cabinet proposal sent by the Gehlot government to the governor on Saturday night said to call the assembly session from July 31. But the governor returned the proposal to the government with three points. The cabinet meeting held at the CM house under the leadership of CM Ashok Gehlot lasted for about two hours.

After the meeting, Transport Minister Pratap Singh Khachariwas said, "We do not want any confrontation with the Governor, he is the head of our family." He indicated that the revised proposal will be sent to the Governor once again for the state government to call the assembly session. He said, 'Now the governor has to decide that he should understand the feeling of every Rajasthani.'
