Jaipur: Congress MLA from Sangod in Rajasthan Bharat Singh Kundanpur has revolted against his own government. However, this rebellion is not done by him to get any post, but to draw attention to the corruption on which CM Ashok Gehlot is blindly sitting. Bharat Singh has written a letter to CM Gehlot targeting the state's mineral minister. In his letter, he has written that if the mining mafia is to be controlled in the state, the mineral minister of the state should be sacked with immediate effect.

Illegal mining is not possible without the protection of the government:-

In a letter to Gehlot, he said, "I want to draw your attention to the saints who have been staging a dharna for 551 days against illegal mining in the mountains of Bharatpur. who attempted suicide. Illegal mining is directly related to hooliganism. Which is not possible without the protection of the government. You also had a press conference on the suicide attempt. In which the Mineral Minister was also present with you. The biggest mining mafia in the state is the mineral minister of the state. A record has been set by them in their home district in cases of illegal mining. By carrying out illegal mining on forests, land, rivers, and drains, they (Mining Minister Pramod Jain Bhaya) have devised corruption.''

He wrote to CM Gehlot, "I have written to you several times in this regard. If the only way to stop illegal mining is the sadhu road of Bharatpur, then I have to walk on this effective route and reach out to you, please wait. Bharat Singh has also said that sadhus have been staging a dharna with their demands for 501 days. No one in his government will listen.'' In such a situation, he attempted self-immolation. Sant Vijay Das, who committed suicide, succumbed to his injuries during treatment in the hospital today, but the Congress government in the state is still sitting blindly.
