Jaipur: Coronavirus infection has spread to all 33 districts of Rajasthan. On Thursday (May 28), six more people lost their lives due to this deadly virus infection and 131 new cases of infection have been registered. The two districts of the state, Ganganagar and Bundi, were  free from coronavirus infection. On Wednesday, infected patients were also found in Bundi and before that in Ganganagar. There are currently one case in Bundi and five in Ganganagar district.

On giving information, the officials said that among the six people died in the state due to coronavirus infection, one infected in Ajmer, Banswara, Dausa, Karauli and Nagaur. A patient of other state has also died here. This brings the total number of dead in the state to 179. In Jaipur, the death toll from coronavirus infection has gone up to 84, while 17 patients have died in Jodhpur and 16 in Kota. 8 patients from other states have also died here. However, officials say that in most of the cases the patients were also suffering from some other serious disease. 131 new cases of infection were reported in the state till 10:30 AM on Thursday.

These include 69 in Jhalawar, 13 in Pali, 12 in Bharatpur, eight in Kota, 7-7 in Jhunjhunu and Jaipur, five each in Nagaur and Churu and 1 in Ajmer. The total number of infected in the state has so far reached 7,947.
