Jaipur: President of Rajasthan Congress unit and state deputy CM Sachin Pilot has left for Delhi by road on Saturday. On giving information, party sources said that Pilot attended a meeting of party legislators at a hotel outside the capital Jaipur. He then left for New Delhi due to personal reasons.

According to sources, the pilots may return on Sunday. Sources said that Pilot will inform the party leadership regarding the latest political scenario in the state. Meanwhile, CM of the state Ashok Gehlot has been camping in a private resort since Friday. He is also accompanied by the party and Independent MLA. The MLAs have been asked to remain in the resort till 19 June. Voting is to be held for the Rajya Sabha elections on June 19.

The Rajya Sabha has three seats from Rajasthan. The Congress has fielded two candidates - KC Venugopal and Neeraj Dangi. BJP has also announced Rajendra Gehlot and Omkar Singh Lakhawat as its candidates. CM Ashok Gehlot has accused BJP of horse trading. Gehlot says that the BJP is luring legislators to topple the state government.
