Jaipur: Rajasthan Deputy CM Sachin Pilot has slammed his own CM Gehlot government. Talking to the media, he said that our government should have already set up the SIT in the Aspect Mines case. Sachin Pilot also said that if the Gehlot government had already set up the SIT, all aspects of the Aspect Khan case would have been investigated and the accused could not have been acquitted by the trial court.

In fact, the Deputy CM's statement matters because he also takes charge of Rajasthan's CM Gehlot, the state home minister, and Ashok Gehlot himself ordered an SIT probe into the Aspect Khan case. Rajasthan Deputy CM Sachin Pilot's statement is a direct question mark on Ashok Gehlot's order. Mr. Pilots and Gehlot are reportedly getting ready for face-to-face battle slate over the past few days. The differences between the two came at a time when CM Ashok Gehlot, after presenting the state budget, had said that people wanted him to become the CM and not to mention who did not become the chief minister.

The tussle between CM Ashok Gehlot and Deputy CM Sachin Pilot in Rajasthan's state came to light on the occasion of Rajiv Gandhi Jayanti on Tuesday. In fact, speaking on the birth anniversary of Rajiv Gandhi, CM Gehlot had said that when the famine came in Rajasthan, Rajiv Gandhi had given us immediate help. Then, Sachin Pilot said, "Just as Rajiv Gandhi listened to you, you should listen to the MLAs.
