Jaipur: Rajasthan people will get rid of fluoride water soon. In only 7 months, the entire Rajasthan will start getting fluoride-free water. The Department of Water will be set up a solar de-fluoridation plant in the entire state. By March, the people of Rajasthan will get pure and clean water. The Gehlot government is working on a war footing to make the entire Rajasthan rural area fluoride-free. So far 66 percent solar energy fluoridation plants have been set up by the PHED department. A total of 3414 plants are to be set up in 33 districts of the state, out of which 2255 plants have already been installed, by the end of the current financial year all the plants will be set up in the Rajasthan.

The amount of fluoride-containing water in the desert soil is increasing because the groundwater level of the state is also continuously falling. Due to the fall of the groundwater level, water is being drawn from more depth, due to which the amount of fluoride in the water has become very high. PHED and the Department of Water Resources are making great efforts to increase the groundwater level, but in such a situation, this step is not enough. Both departments will have to prepare a new project, which should show promising results.

The Gehlot government took important steps to make the toxic water coming out of the soil of the desert drinkable. After this step of the government, drinking water is being provided in hundreds of villages. Even before this many governments came and went in Rajasthan, but till date, no government has taken such effective steps.
