Bharatpur: There will be no shortage of red-pink stones of Bansi Paharpur, Rajasthan famous for the grand temple of Prabhu Shri Ram being built in Ayodhya. Ashok Gehlot government of Rajasthan writes a letter to Central Government to lift the ban on mining in Bansi Paharpur area of Bharatpur as its top priority.

The red-pink stone of Bansi Paharpur is being used fiercely in the construction of Ram temple in Ayodhya, but the difficulty is that the area of the closed Bareta where this stone is found is declared a forest area. For this reason, mining has been banned since 2016. For many years, this restriction is visible only in government papers. Even after the ban, the mining mafia in Bansi Paharpur area was digging and supplying this stone indiscriminately.

The Bharatpur district administration has run a campaign against illegal mining earlier and dozens of trucks and trolleys have been confiscated. One thing, 25 such trucks were caught in which the red stone of Bansi Paharpur was filled. Still, hundreds of truck trolleys have come under the possession of Bharatpur Police, which are standing in various police stations and posts in the district. Suddenly the State government has written a letter to the Central government, under which the Bansi Paharpur area has been requested to be reotified from the forest land.
