Jaipur: With the change of power in Rajasthan, the colour of the bicycle also changes. When the BJP was in power, the colour of the bicycle used to be saffron, but now the Congress came to power, once again the colour of the bicycle has been changed. Now the Congress government will distribute black bicycles instead of saffron. The government will provide bicycles to students living in hostels within a distance of two km.

It is worth mentioning here that the BJP's Vasundhara government had launched a scheme to distribute saffron-coloured bicycles to promising girl students. The scheme was further promoted during the tenure of the Congress government and also introduced a scheme to distribute bicycles in hostels. But now the Congress government has blackened the colour of the bicycle instead of saffron. Students living in government scholarships of the Department of Social Justice and Empowerment will be provided bicycles if they go to study more than two km away.

However, it is also true that black bicycles generally do not cost more, if saffron was coloured separately in the previous Vasundhara government, it had to be paid separately. On bicycle distribution, Minister Master Bhanwar Lal Meghwal says that now there is no saffron-coloured bicycle or orange. Now only black bicycles will be given by the department.
