Jaipur: The inquiry into the Teacher Eligibility Test (REET 2021) was today heard in the Rajasthan High Court. The high court in its judgement said that the REET Level One examination will also be examined. If the examinees are found to be appointed in the reet level one, they will still be under the scanner. The Rajasthan High Court had today summoned Ashok Rathore, ADG of the Special Operations Group, which is investigating the case, to the court where Rathore submitted a progress report of the investigation.

Rathore told the court that the role of the sacked chairman of the Rajasthan Board of Secondary Education, DP Jaroli, is yet to come to the fore, so he has not been questioned and arrest is not being made. The SOG's ADG also admitted that when the question paper was being brought from the printing press to the strong room, there was no security arrangement and there was no police car.

In the high court, when Anand Sharma, the counsel for the REET examinees, questioned how a private person Ram Kripal Meena was involved to conduct the exam, ADG Ashok Rathore did not respond to the question even when asked by the court. More than 20 lakh students had taken the REET exam to become teachers, but after the question paper was out, the REET level two exam was cancelled by the government and the entire matter was handed over to the SOG.
