Jaipur: Due to Coronavirus infection, the work has been postponed from August 17 to August 19 in Jaipur bench of Rajasthan High Court. Due to this, the suspicion has deepened on the proposed decision in the case of Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) MLAs.

A possible decision will now be possible only after August 19. Justice Mahendra Goyal had also started writing a judgment on the case last Friday. Due to the completion of the court time, Judge Goyal had set the hearing on August 17 to write the judgment. On Saturday, Chief Justice Indrajit Mahanati was found to be Corona positive. During this time, he also participated in the Independence Day program held in the High Court and the Sessions Court.

A large number of lawyers also came in contact with Indrajit Mahananti at the ceremony. The Etihatan High Court administration has decided to stop the administrative and judicial functioning of the High Court for three days. In Rajasthan, the cases of corona are increasing continuously. As of 10.30 am on Monday, 693 newly infected cases have been reported in the state. According to the statistics of Rajasthan Health Department, there are 14 thousand 451 active cases in the state till this morning. While the figure of total infected has reached 61 thousand 989.
