Jaipur: Rajasthan Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot today conducted an aerial survey of the flood-affected areas of the Kota district and inspected the situation. Ministers Shanti Dhariwal, Parsadi Lal Meena and local MLAs Ramnarayan Meena, and Bharat Singh Kundanpur along with the general public met the general public and reviewed the situation. Earlier, CM Gehlot had conducted an aerial survey of the flood-affected areas in Bundi district and inspected the situation.

CM Gehlot left Jaipur at around 10.30 am today. The situation in the Hadoti zone is very bad. Floods have wreaked havoc in Kota, Jhalawar, Bundi and Banra districts. In the Dholpur district, 120 villages have been hit by floods. While the water level of the Chambal river has reached the danger mark of 15.81 meters. Army and SDRF are engaged in relief and rescue operations. Chief Minister Gehlot met the common man in Kota after the aerial survey and listened to their problems. Enquire about the well-being of flood victims.  

He was accompanied by state UDH Minister Shanti Dhariwal and Kota in-charge Minister Parsadi Lal Meena. Meena had reached Kota late on Wednesday night. MLA from Anta in Baran district and Mining Minister Pramod Jain Bhaya is also likely to accompany Chief Minister Gehlot to Baran and Jhalawar districts. Let us know that about 4 thousand people have been rescued on Wednesday and relief and rescue work is going on in the affected areas.
