Jaisalmer: The lockdown was announced in the state till 31 March by state CM Ashok Gehlot regarding the prevention of coronavirus. After this, the district administration and the police department are looking at the alert mode regarding the lockdown in the border district Jaisalmer. Section 144 has been enforced in the district with immediate effect and a ban has been imposed on the gathering of 5 or more people. District Collector Namit Mehta told during the press conference that there is a complete lockdown in the district and no shops or establishments, except the essential services, should remain open till March 31, it is being ensured.
