Jaipur: Petrol and diesel prices are rising rapidly across the country. On Tuesday, petrol price was increased by 80 paise a litre and diesel by 70 paise a litre. In many states, petrol has crossed Rs 100 per litre. Now, Pratap Singh Khachariyawas, a minister in the Rajasthan cabinet, has attacked the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) in this matter.

Pratap Singh Khachariyawas has said that after the elections, the BJP is increasing the prices of petrol and diesel. These people are not Ram bhakts, but Ravan devotees. These people should give petrol-diesel coupons to the people in place of the tickets for the Kashmir Files movie. The prices of petrol and diesel in the national market are skyrocketing amidst softening of crude oil prices in the international market. Crude oil prices have dropped by about 26 percent. Even after this, petrol in Delhi has crossed 100. For the seventh time in the last 8 days, petrol and diesel prices have increased. Prices have gone up by Rs 4.80 per litre in about a week.

In Rajasthan's Sriganganagar, petrol is selling at Rs 117.44 per litre, the most expensive in the entire country. At the same time, the price of diesel is Rs 100.24 per litre.
