In the meeting of the District Land Rate Determination Committee held a week ago, it was agreed to increase the price of land by 15 per cent on an average. After which the price of the residential area has been increased by 15 per cent. Due to this, building a shop and building a house in the prime location of the city will be costlier than before.

As per the new rules, DLC rates can be increased once a year. The government has the right to increase rates up to 49 per cent. However, the Vasundhara government had reduced the DLC rate, which made it cheaper to register. But now the rate is being increased again during the Congress rule.
