Jaipur: To stop the fast-growing infection of the global pandemic Coronavirus, a lockdown has been implemented in the entire country including Rajasthan till May 3. The central and state governments have implemented modified lockdown in many places to speed up the economy. Rajasthan's economy has suffered huge losses in the last one month due to the lockdown, but one aspect of this lockdown is that the revenue of Rajasthan Police has increased tremendously during the lockdown.

In the lockdown from March 22 to Janata curfew till date, Rajasthan Police has recovered about Rs.29.59 million as fine, which is a record in itself. Rajasthan CM Ashok Gehlot himself has given information about this by tweeting. Rajasthan ADG Crime BL Soni says that so far, 31 thousand cases of lockdown violations have been registered in the entire state.

He told that 2652 people have been nominated. More than seven thousand people have been caught accused of violating lockdown. Apart from this, during the last month, police have seized around 95 thousand vehicles all over Rajasthan. Ajmer tops the list. Whereas more than ten thousand vehicles have been seized so far, while 20 thousand vehicles have been fined more than Rs 25 lakh.
