Jaipur: Former PM of the country and senior Congress leader Manmohan Singh has been announced support by the BSP in the Rajya Sabha elections. Former PM Singh is going to file his nomination for the Rajya Sabha elections from Rajasthan on the 13th of this month. Rajasthan BSP Legislature Party leader Lakhan Singh announced this in a statement on Monday.
Rajasthan BSP LEGISLATURE leader Lakhan Singh has said that the BSP will support the Congress candidate in the election to a Rajya Sabha seat in the state. It is worth mentioning here that the BSP has also supported the Ashok Gehlot government of the Congress in Rajasthan. On Monday evening, BSP MLA will also meet Rajasthan CM Ashok Gehlot.
According to the IAS report, former PM Dr. Manmohan Singh will file his nomination papers for the Rajya Sabha seat from Rajasthan on the 13th of this month. Earlier, for 28 years, Dr. Singh has represented Assam in the Rajya Sabha. However, with no seat vacant in Assam and Congress not in power in Assam.
