Who does not know the famous actress of Tollywood, Rajasulochana, in today's time, she always remained in the discussion due to something or the other. She has always won the hearts of her fans with her acting, not only that, she was an Indian classical dancer and film actress. She has acted in over 300 Telugu, Tamil, Kannada, Malayalam and Hindi language films. She was born on 15th August 1935 in Vijayawada, Andhra Pradesh. Her father, Piliarkheti Bhaktavatslam Naidu, worked in the Indian Railways and was transferred to Madras as general manager of M&M Railways. In the school, her name was mistakenly recorded as Rajasalochana.

Kannada stage and screen maestro H. L. N. Simha gave her the opportunity to act in Gunsagari (Kannada, 1953) produced by Gubbi Veeranna. After this, she acted in around 274 films in all south Indian languages. She has worked with all the major stars of South Indian cinema such as M. G. Ramachandran, Sivaji Ganesan, N. T. Rama Rao, Akkineni Nageswara Rao, Rajkumar, S. S. Rajendran starred alongside Prem Nazir, A. P. Nagarajan and M. N. Nambiar.

She founded the dance school "Pushpanjali Dance Arts Centre" in Chennai in 1961. It trained many students in Indian classical dance forms and celebrated its silver jubilee in 1986. She presented many dances in India and abroad and received vital acclaim for dance plays. She bid farewell to the world on March 5, 2013.
