Jailer, starring Rajinikanth, wrapped shooting. On Thursday night, the film's producers marked the end of production by sharing a few images of Rajinikanth and the cast from the set. The superstar and crew celebrated the end of the shoot by cutting a cake on set with Tamannaah Bhatia and the crew. 

The makers took to Twitter to post a few images of Rajinikanth on set celebrating the completion of Jailer. The actor can be seen giving a thumbs up, smiling, and cutting a large cake. Tamannaah Bhatia and director Nelson Dilipkumar can also be seen in the shot with Rajinikanth. He also posed for a group photo with the crew.

The action thriller directed by Nelson Dilipkumar stars Rajinikanth in the role of a jailer on a mission. Shiva Rajkumar, a Kannada celebrity, plays the main antagonist in the film, which also stars Ramya Krishnan, Yogi Babu, Vasanth Ravi, Vinayakan, and others in supporting parts. Mohanlal, the Malayalam superstar, makes a cameo appearance in the film. Jackie Shroff, a Bollywood actor, also appears in the film. Music for the project was composed by Anirudh Ravichander. Director of photography is Vijay Kartik Kannan. Kalanithi Maran's renowned banner Sun Pictures is producing Jailer. Jailer is set to be released on August 11, 2023. The film will compete with Chiranjeevi's Bholaa Shankar at the box office. 

Aside from that, Rajinikanth is now filming his upcoming film Lal Salaam, which will be directed by his daughter Aishwaryaa. In the film, he plays the part of Moideen Bhai. The actor's first glimpse was released a few days ago, and it drew criticism for the poster's poor quality. Although admirers adored his new style. The lead actors of Lal Salaam are Vishnu Vishal and Vikranth.
