Gandhinagar: The DefExpo-2022, Asia's largest exhibition on land, marine, and homeland security systems, will take place in Gandhinagar, Gujarat, from March 10 to 14. According to the Defence Ministry, the 12th edition of the DefExpo will be one of the world's major defence international fairs.

The massive event has so far attracted 930 exhibitors, with the number anticipated to exceed 1,000 in the coming days, according to the ministry. Foreign Defense Ministers are likely to attend the event as well.

Defence Minister Rajnath Singh inspected DefExpo-2022 preparations on Friday, February 18. Singh chose to extend the event by one day due to the loosening of COVID standards, which has sparked increased interest in DefExpo-2022. The show will now take place from March 10 to 14, according to the ministry.

The event's lengthening will facilitate defence business across three business days while also making it accessible to young entrepreneurs and Gujarat's college or school youth over two public days.
