Amaravati (Andhra Pradesh): "Now 2.5 lakh children have been admitted to government schools except private schools. Have you ever wanted to be like this? It is CM Jagan." Rajya Sabha member Vijayasai Reddy once again met Telugu Desam Party chief Chandrababu Naidu. Vijayasai Reddy in a tweet post released on Friday said, "Chandrababu schools were closed because children are not coming to school. Private educational institutions have been encouraged to expand without providing basic facilities in government schools," he said.

As a result of all the education related schemes launched by the YSRC government, more than 2.5 lakh students from private schools attended government schools. While 70,000 students have moved from private to public schools. The introduction of the 'Amma Vodi' scheme has increased interest in government schools under which every mother is given rs.15,000 annually. As well as school kits were given to children. Apart from this, nutritional food is also provided in schools.
