Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra,the director who Mirzya, gave chance to Harshvardhan to make his debut,as Sonam also worked with him Delhi -6 and now Anil has given the nod to Mehra’s next.

Says a source, “Rakeysh’s film is one of three films that Anil has signed this year, apart from Mubarakan and Jugalbandi. With Mehra, there is the trust factor, so Anil said yes.” The source adds that while the film will be a commercial entertainer, it will have the same depth as all of Mehra’s films.

“Anil truly believes that Rakeysh is one of the few Indian filmmakers who can spin sensible cinema into a box-office success.”

Anil on working with Mehra says, “We will work very soon”.When asked to elaborate, he smiles, “Sooner than you can imagine”

As,the Bachchan family’s member worked with Sanjay Gupta,Amitabh Bachchan in Kaante and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan in Jazbaa. Reportedly, Abhishek will be doing a film titled Ek Tha Gangster with Gupta soon.
