New Delhi: Bharatiya Kisan Union (BKU) leader Rakesh Tikait, who led the farmers' agitation against the three new farm laws enacted by the central government, has received death threats again. The Uttar Pradesh Police has registered a case in connection with the death threat to farmer leader Rakesh Tikait. The UP Police is investigating the case.

On the other hand, the Bharatiya Kisan Union (BKU) has demanded that Rakesh Tikait be given 'Y' category security after he received death threats. The Bharatiya Kisan Union has said that Rakesh Tikait had received death threats in the past. The government should provide 'Y' category security to Rakesh Tikait. Muzaffarnagar police have registered a case in connection with the threat received by Rakesh Tikait. 

In a tweet by the Muzaffarnagar police, it has been informed that a case has been registered in this regard at the Civil Lines police station and it has also been said by the Muzaffarnagar police that legal action is being taken on the basis of facts.
