New Delhi: Rakhi is being celebrated across the country today i.e. This festival is a holy festival of brothers and sisters and on this day brothers and sisters strengthen their bond. On this day the brother gives a gift to his sister and the sister ties rakhi to her brother. Now, on 'Raksha Bandhan,' many veterans including Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Vice President Venkaiah Naidu, Home Minister Amit Shah have greeted the people of the country. At the same time, a woman security guard tied rakhi to Union Minister Ashwini Vaishnav at Bhavanipatna in Kalahandi district of Odisha. Tell all of you that on the auspicious occasion of Rakhi, two auspicious times are being formed today to tie rakhi.

 

 

The first auspicious time is till 10.30 am and the second will be Dhanishta Nakshatra till 07:40 PM. Recently, Prime Minister Narendra Modi tweeted his best wishes to the countrymen on the occasion of Raksha Bandhan. In a tweet, he wrote, "Best wishes to the people of the country on the auspicious occasion of Raksha Bandhan.'' Apart from him, Vice President M Venkaiah Naidu also congratulated the nation on Raksha Bandhan and urged the people to ensure a safe environment for women.

You can see the tweet from the Vice President saying, 'Happy Raksha Bandhan! The festival is a celebration of the deep bond of love and respect between brothers and sisters. On this auspicious day, let us resolve to maintain the dignity of women and ensure a safe environment for them every time.'

 

 

Apart from him, Home Minister Amit Shah also congratulated the countrymen on Raksha Bandhan. He tweeted, "Heartiest greetings to all countrymen on the auspicious occasion of Raksha Bandhan. Raksha Bandhan, one of the popular Hindu festivals, is an annual occasion celebrated across the country to honor the special bond between brothers and sisters. On this day the sisters tie rakhi on their brother's wrist and exchange gifts.''
