Bollywood actress Rakul Preet Singh has turned up to the Delhi High Court. She has asked the court to immediately give interim instructions to the media to prevent the publication of running serial broadcasts or articles against her by linking her with drug action related to the death case of actor Sushant Singh Rajput. The case is likely to be heard next week. A petition filed through advocate Himanshu Yadav, Aman Hingorani and Shweta Hingorani claim that Rakul Preet is currently in Hyderabad in connection with the shooting. She is shocked to see media reports that Mumbai's NCB summons her on September 24 in a drugs case involving Rhea Chakraborty. The petitioner was not summoned by the NCB to the address of Hyderabad or Mumbai, the petition said.

In fact, the NCB, which is taking action in the drug case in Bollywood, seems to be taking new clues on the day. It has called some famous film personalities to investigate them. Actor Rakulpreet Singh had also gone to the NCB office in South Mumbai Friday to file a statement in connection with the drugs case. The NCB had summoned Rakulpreet Singh in connection with the probe into the Bollywood drugs nexus.

According to media reports, Rakul's name came up amidst interrogation of actor Rhea Chakraborty. NCB has already detained more than a dozen people in a drugs case. Apart from Rakulpreet Singh, NCB had also called Deepika Padukone. NCB had questioned three leading Bollywood actresses Deepika Padukone, Sara Ali Khan Shraddha Kapoor for several hours on Saturday.
